The Nation Nigeria has reported that the former President and elder stateman, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo merely told the world what he would have done to the just concluded presidential election that produced Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of All Progressive Congress (APC) President-elect, if he was in President Muhammadu Buhari’s shoes.
According to The Nation Nigeria, the former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo said, if he was in President Buhari’s shoes, would have cancelled the elections irrespective of the fact that he had no such power under the constitution.
“Obasanjo merely told the world what he would have done if he was in President Buhari’s shoes. He would have cancelled the elections irrespective of the fact that he had no such power under the constitution….” The Nation Nigeria reported.
Recall, before the 2023 presidential election in Nigeria, the former President Olusegun Obasanjo told Nigerians to give their votes to former Anambra State Governor and Presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi.
